Information is a digital currency\, while it’s obvious that a refrigerator collects and analyses food information\, it could have a credit card to round out ordering food if not now\, in the future. What information is the thermostat collecting? I read the fine print on mine\, I immediately reset it\, no interest in having it connected. We manually adjust it. Convenience is in the eye of the user\, internet or electricity go off? What happens to the convenience? Who knows what the connected information a clothes dryer collects\, or a ‘smart TV’ for that matter. Nope\, I keep a dumb house!
