DESCRIPTION:A brief sojourn away from things Apple on 29 March\, when NMUG Board member Mike Kwasniak discusses his work as a theatre photographer\, and shares some of his images\, recorded in theatres in the UK over the past 40 years. \nIn 1984 Mike worked in marketing in a theatre close to his home in East Anglia\, where management\, who already knew of his work as an avid amateur photographer\, generously offered him the opportunity to photograph one of their productions. Four years later he left the marketing department to pursue a career as a freelance photographer. \nThree years ago\, Covid struck and all theatres closed as the world entered lockdown. Mike used the opportunity to trawl through his vast collection of images and assemble a collection that would ultimately result in him receiving a Fellowship of the internationally recognised Royal Photographic Society.
