Come join us for an afternoon of fun and learning with Mike Shebanek! Mike is a 19-year veteran of Apple and as a Senior Product Manager has some incredible and hilarious stories to share. Mike was the leader behind such iconic milestones at Apple like the Bondi Blue iMac, the transition of PowerPC to Intel processors, the first Rosetta binary translator that enabled Mac apps written for PowerPC to run seamlessly on Intel Macs, Apple Dashboard Widgets (the precursor to iPhone apps), Boot Camp, and one of his most crowning achievements VoiceOver—a screen reader built into Mac OS and every new iPod, iPhone, and iPad making it possible for people to use these devices without seeing the screen—leading Mike to become the product manager and head of Accessibility at Apple for 5 years.

Mike served as product manager of iOS and iPadOS and helped Apple successfully launch the original iPad and its successors, which as you know helped revolutionize mobile computing. There’s so much more to tell, but Mike, now retired, wants to share these stories with you personally and answer your questions.
