1TB USB 4 external SSD

I’ve just had a new external SSD delivered. It’s a USB 4.0 device with an 6-inch long flat USB 4 cable and is designed to attach to an iPhone 15 Pro or 16 via MagSafe. The packaging includes a adhesive steel ring to allow it to attach magnetically to the back of the phone for direct capture of Pro res video recordings.

But I won’t be using it that way. I’m presently setting it up as a clone of my M4 Mac mini with the aim being to have a clone than can run at or near the same speed as the Mac’s internal drive. According to the BlackMagic Disk Speed Test app it does just that. https://amzn.asia/d/dwBfIfB
