I’m used to == for instance, when I did a rectangular selection the space I selected would have a slight grey cast to it so I knew whether or not I’d selected the right space – now it’s all white and I can’t tell. The space has info I selected but no ‘warning’ to me that I might have missed something. Also everything is very white [I do have brightness turned up but that doesn’t affect it] – ie I was in Settings/Displays trying to figure this out and on the R side where there are slides/buttons to select, they’re whited out entirely. Only because I knew they were there could I click on them. I have gone thru Displays and Accessibility and can’t figure it out. I really do need more contrast and things being more obvious and less whited out – I do have Display Contrast on but it only puts lines around the buttons – it doesn’t color in the space being shown. [I’ve done everything the AI in lower right corner of this screen suggested-now I’ll restart and hope it cures itself
