Daylight S(h)avings

In 3 days the latest round of what I call Daylight Shavings ends in the Australian states of Victoria, New South Wales, Tasmania and South Australia plus the Australian Capital Territory. This will make it easier for me to participate in NMUG meetings as they will be starting at 1:30 am on Thursdays instead of the current 2:30 am.

I have long referred to the adjustment period as Daylight Shavings because of limited perceived benefit to my lifestyle.
