This is helpful but if anyone has other ideas that’d be great === it’ll be a meeting of about 15-20 at a friend’s house and I’m one of the hosts/presenters so want to set it and forget it
To record and transcribe a meeting for free using Apple devices, follow these steps:
Recording a Meeting:

- Use QuickTime Player by navigating to
File > New Screen Recording

- You can manually transcribe using the built-in Dictationfeature by playing the audio and dictating it.

Tips:
- Permissions: Always ensure you have permission from all participants to record the meeting.
- Audio Quality: Use a quiet space and a good microphone to improve audio clarity, which aids in more accurate transcription.
