Message stuck in Apple Mail Outbox

I have a message that shows in my Tahoe Mail Outbox, that was sent several months ago, amounting to 8.16 GB. It was a movie I made and sent to a friend.

When I look at iCloud Mail, there is no outbox. There is no outbox on my iOS devices, either.

How do I get the Outbox on my MBA M2 to delete this monster? I’ve tried many times, but it never completes the task.

Would a mailbox rebuild help? Doesn’t seem to be doing anything…

My wife pressed a different delete button on the MBA, and the message is gone, although the Outbox lingers, empty.
