      Hi All,

I’m presenting my Theatre photography talk to a local Arts Association next week and they have asked for the slideshow to be presented on a memory stick, with a view to running the show on their Windows PC.

I see that I can export the slideshow to a powerpoint file, but can anyone tell me how I should format the memory stick so that they will be able to see it?

      Many thanks,

      Mike

FAT32 is the most common and most compatible with new and old devices. Many USB flash drives are sold with FAT32 as default. However, there is a 4 GB file size limit.

ExFAT would also work well, and has a much larger max file size.

        • Format your thumb drive as exfat and master boot record in disk utility and both windows and mac can see the files.
