I received one earlier today and I was wondering about whether it was valid or not and thought rather than click through anything or make the phone call to the number provided I would check directly with Apple and Goldman Sachs. I did do so just now and apparently this is a totally fake text message and so I told the guy I would let everyone know not to respond to text messages that tell you to call the “verification team”. If you need more information, let me know and I’ll be glad to send it.
